As most of you will know, my blood pressure was VERY high in the middle of the week. The doc asked me all the questions that were linked to pre eclampsia and I didnt have any of the symtoms :)...

...However today I have had a headache on and off all day! Its hard though, because I dont know wether is just because of the heat? Does anyone know what kind of headaches to look out for with Pre-eclampsia? I have googled it but keep getting conflicted info! :wall2:

If I still have it tommorrow this I think I should ring MAS and ask them

Thanks.

Not sure - I was panicking this morning as my face looked a bit puffy. Seems to have gone down now though thankfully.
Maybe give your MW a call in the morning? Although if it gets any worse i'd call someone at the hospital X

Always better to safe than sorry hun prob best to ring mw tomorrow and have bp checked again x

yeah just ring up. They can do a blood test to check if youve got preeclampsia so you'll get an answer either way. I had a headache a few weeks ago and had a big panic too, always worth being checked!

Hey,

Hope things are better for you - I had a headache all day yesterday - hoping it would go this morning - nope I have woken up with the same headache!! Luckily I am seeing my MW tomorrow - really hope you get it sorted!!
xxx

Hey Erin, How is the headache today? I had a headache for about 3 weeks although I do get migraines, and they asked if the headache goes away or eases if I had taken painkillers. I think if it's due to pre eclampsia it wouldn't go away with painkillers. Always best to get checked out either way though if you are worried or it's something that's unusual for you.

yeah I think with preeclampsia its usually a really severe headache with visual disturbances but Id still get checked out, just incase youve only got it mildly.

Thanks guys, the headache has gone now so I'm just going to wait until im at the hospital on Wed x
