head 3/4 engaged

Hi

I am 40 weeks + 2 days and went to my midwife today who said the babys head was 3/4 engaged.

I have had a lot of discharge, yellow colour, no show, no plug but have had a couple of nights where I have had over 5 hrs worth of contractions - 10 minutes apart but then they have disappeared.

If the head is 3/4 engaged, should that mean i dont have too long to wait??

you can't really tell how soon labour will start by the head engaging. sometimes it happens weeks before, others, not until labour starts.
Things are definately moving in the right direction though, and your body is getting ready
