Hello! I am 5 weeks and 3 days and I just had my HCG today, Oct 5th, at 1050. I had the test again on Wedensday Sept 30th and it was 399.

It has increased but it's not double! Please help! I ve heard this is not normal. So far I had very light cramps, no bleeding at all, feeling like a balloon, everything feels normal... My last period was Aug 28th.

Has anyone had a similar experience?
I am a bit stressed :( I am reading in the forum about HCGs of over 4.000 on the 5 week and I feel my low levels may end in miscarriage...

In early pregnancy it can take a while for the hcg to double:

At hCG levels in early pregnancy below 1,200 mIU/ml, the hCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours and it should normally increase by at least 60% every two days.
Between 1,200 and 6,000 mIU/ml serum hCG levels in early pregnancy, the hCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double.

wed 30th 399
oct 2nd 60% increase would be 639
oct 4th another 60% increase would be 1022

you were above that on oct 5th and even then that is just "normally" my mum got negative pregnancy tests until she was 3 months preggers with me they told her she had wind and to go home. then she had a scan as she was very "bloated" and they found me.... she still had a negative hpt even though i was clearly visible on the scan. Everyone is different.
