Me and my partner is curious... is it safe to have sex while i am pregnant?
I mean is it going to harm the baby if we did do it?

It'll not harm the baby in any way and usually the only way doctors/midwives will tell you to refrain from sex is if you have a high risk pregnancy.

If you look back a few days there was a big post about this so there might be some extra advice there.

I was worried about this so asked my GP - she said they only advise against sex in the first few weeks if you have had recurrent miscarriages, otherwise you should be fine.

It's all very much down to the individual- we haven't had any for a while as both a bit nervous about it (and I often feel sick in the evenings) but if it feels right then go for it!

I have continued having sex throughout my pregnancy with no problem at all........only real issue we have now is my bump gets in the way a bit

Unless you have had previous problem there is no reason at all why you shouldnt carry on as normal where your sex life is concerned!!

we have had one miscarriage already only after three weeks... only in this year so may that cause any problems?

Ask your GP or midwife hun - we had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage which is why we were worried- but the doctor said unless you have recurrent miscarriages there's not usually cause for worry. But definitely ask a professional if you are really concerned. x
