Is it just me who takes around five minutes to pull myself to sitting up when Im laying down in the bath?
I feel like a right old granny
i think its the fact iv got the extra weight of my bump to pull up too.
Reaching up to get the shampoo seemed like a mission
The lovelyness off pregnancy

Yeap....and it only gets worse Jazz, you will feel about 80 years old come 40 weeks! :rotfl:

Wait until your 40 weeks and you need to keep a forklift truck under the sink!

Oh god, Im exactly the same!! And as soon as I get in the bath now I fall asleep too, every single time! Then bubba wakes me up by going crazy when the water gets chilly, not sure if thats a coincidence but it happens everytime now  I struggle to get up off the sofa if Im sat lounging back too, god knows what I'll be like in another few weeks

Thats what I keep thinking.
If Im like this at 20 weeks, god knows what im gonna be like at 25 or 30
Being filthy rich would be great as I could have my own butler to get the shampoo for me, and if i needed to sit up, he could give me a push from behind

 That would be bliss, then you'd never have to move  Someone to help me out would be good too as I struggle with that as well! Think by 40weeks I'll be too scared to have a bath at this rate

Even now I darent have one unless OH is home and I leave door open and give him strict instructions to come and find me if Im not out by a set time :rotfl: He thinks Ive lost my mind I think!

evening girls... just saying to Jazz on msn im exactly the same... its a mission to get in, i have a wash etc and then lie back cause it helps my ever sore back and then have to start trying to work out how im going to get back out again lol. Ive been tempted to shout for Lee a few times for help

Also I cant get off the sofa without heaving myself up by pushing, it looks like a comedy pregnant lady sketch  and picking stuff up is just another story

ooo the joys!!

Erm wasn't it the push from behind that got us all into this mess in the first place!!??!!?? :rotfl:

it gets worse sadly :rotfl: I remember how awful it was 35 weeks + I can't even get out of bed :rotfl:

You should see me trying to get out, although think my upper body strength has obviously improved recently and I am able to still haul myself up, although am sure its not an attractive look!

I love my baths, and usually have 2 a day!!

I have showers now for the same reasons  I used to "squash" my bump fiddling with the bath taps and trying to get the shower to work properly to do my hair...! My OH is gonna put an electric shower in to make life easier for us both now haha!

Ill only have a bath if DH is home and I make him help me in and out in case I slip.

god a servant would be nice, to wash my hair and scrub my back.. would like a one which can massage too please..!! if you find one let me know..! lol

I remember last time I was pregnant, I was absolutely massive, and at about 30 weeks I actually got stuck in the bath. I was so huge, I created some kind of vaccuum at the sides, and no matter what, I couldn't get up! I was stuck fast! I had to shout my OH to come and hoist me out. It took all his strength to pull me out of that bath without bringing the bath with me! It was twins though... so that's my excuse!

Have you noticed yet aswell that when you pull yourself up your tummy goes into a pyramid shape? Thats weird :)

This post has made me smile cos I remember posting about this when I was pregnant! From about 35 weeks onwards, my OH used to have to get me out the bath! lol I just couldn't get out on my own no matter how hard I tried! And as you can imagine, my OH found it so amusing!! he thought it was hillarious! lol
The glamour of pregnancy! lol
