STRETCH MARKS yet?????

Just starting to notice a few tiny little ones on my bum and thighs

*Rubs cocoa butter into buttocks furiously*

I'm covered in them anyway but the ones on my hips and above my belly button have started to go red again.

Not from pregnancy, i've got some on my hips from losing weight when i as younger, but nothing new as yet!

*Fingers crossed*

I have loads from last time. They have gone red again on my stomach and boobs. My boobs are the worst because they seem to be expanding by the day !!! Stomach looks like the underground map !!!

Hannah X :rotfl:

i have stretchmarks from losing wegiht too quickly, there all over my hips, not nice, but since the bubba they've extended ive got pink lines with purple extensions, also gettin some on my bump, been using the cocoa butter but it doesnt seem to help :(

You should try Bio-Oil that's what i've been using. Don;t know if it is actually helping, or if i've just been lucky so far!

i used that befor i was pregnant, coz its more for fading stretch marks and scars, i find it helped with stretch marks but not scars....

ill be buying it buy the crate load after bubba!

I'm just gonna keep on using it seems to be helping at the moment anyways!

Watch this, in 2 weeks time my stomach will look like a road map of scotland!!

I have purple flames in my inner thigh and thats it ( so far! ) hope I dont get too many :(

Yeah unfortunately some ladies are just more prone to stretch marks than others.

Bio-Oil is great for fading scars/stretch marks I recommend it to clients, but cocoa butter really is the best thing for prevention as it contains lots of vitamin E and elastin which prepares the skin to stretch rather than fading anything thats there.

But like I said...some people are just lucky and their skin contains higher levels of elastin which regardless of whether they used cream or not, would not be prone to the buggers!

im gate crashing into 2nd tri...i have LOADS, anyone want some? for free? il pay you ?? :D.

and i have noticed some blood spots at the end of some of them, im guessing where vessels burst? ewwww

i feel like a bloody road map....

Sadly from my last pregnancy I have them.......I am sure I will get more yet again

I haven't got any yet but i am getting paranoid as I haven't been able to use my cocoa butter for a while due to this rash I have. I need to get back onto it!

yeah i got stretch marks from growing up, i lost a lot of weight a few years ago and was left with them im sure when i go for scans and stuff they think i have had children before, i get quite paranoid about them, OH says he doesn't notice them (bless him)

im sure if you are prone to them like me i will get lots more during pregnancy

I thought i'd be the same rusks, i thought i;d be covered in them by now, but i've not got 1 *touch wood* from pregnancy (yet)! I;m a hell of a lot bigger than i was as well so fingers crossed it'll carry on this way!!

You have obviously got skin that contains alot of elastin hun! :cheer:

Why have i got some already though?

I'll probably wake up next week covered in them!

Elastin levels change all the time, thats why in some pregnancies ladies get them and in others they can get none!!

The cocoa butter just contains elastin to give your skin a helping hand but its not as effective as your own elastin in the skin
