Hmm, just thinking. What makes the difference between an inny or outy? Is it how they cut it or something?

I don't actually know... I think it means from the side, does it stick out or not?

If you look back at my pic I posted, they didn't cut it very well at all when I was born I swear I still have some of my umbilical cord attached! xx

It's actually the luck of the draw. It has nothing to do with genetics, or how the doc snips the cord. There's nothing you can do to get one or the other either. It's just how the skin heals underneath. My youngest son has a half in half out belly button. It's the only one I've ever seen and it's kinda cute. As he's gotten older, it's become more of an "inny" than an "outy" though.

I didn't know that!

Has anyone else noticed their belly button is a different colour on the inside...? Mine is kind of....dark....it looks dirty but I know it's not!!! Weird

By the way, the top bit is where I had my belly button pierced - it's a bit stretched now!! xx

It looks like your belly is pouting at me!!

Mine went half innie half outie and felt like baby soft skin...straight after it was like a moon crater and was browny colour and felt like sand paper

Hopefully it will go back to normal.
