Has everyone bought their pushchair yet?

i loved my travel system, i made sure i knew how to work it etc before Jam was born cos i didnt want any mishaps with the car seat lol!!
and he used to lok so little in it, now his big feet stick out the end lol!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

We bought this one for just £50;

We didn't want to spend a lot on a travel system as I would like a smaller more flexible buggy when he gets a bit bigger, so don't see the travel system as being used for longer than the first 6 months or so, hope you manage to find the right product for you and your LO :)

we haven't got are just yet.. but we are buying it off my friend.... so it ain't going any where :D

thats the one we got and built it ready for baby :)

Ive got a similar one

I love the hoods on it and how it can close into a cacoon and how you can move them all about depending where the sun is. Bit on the heavy side but I tend to use mine for walking to the village via the canal towpath so needed something sturdy and this was it :)

If I had to choose again I'd go for the deluxe as the wheels are nicer

I got this one from America.. noone seems to have it here yet

Jaycee will be nearly 3 and all the double pushchairs are up to age 3 so there was no point in getting one as shes very big for her age anyway. I wanted her to be able to sit down if we were out shopping, so this is perfect :) They also do this as a double and then u take the back seat off and it has the seat like in the pic on it. She can stand up too, like on a buggy board but not under my feet lol! I hate them things, way over priced!
It folds very small too which is good! Plus the back seat has straps so its safe too :D

Katrina i love that pushchair and the car seat goes very well with it!!

I brought the Silver Cross 3d system as I wanted a pram for lo to lie flat, it is quite heavy but I like the way it converts in to an umberella fold buggy for when she is bigger, I got it in last seasons fabric theough the marina one because I preferred it!!

well i got mine, but now regretting it, thinking of sending it back untill baby is born :|

I bought a Mamas & Papas travel system off Ebay for a bargain price. I liked it because it was easy to use and the pushchair turned into a carrycot type pram for the early days.

When the baby is a bit bigger I would like to get the Silver Cross "Pop" buggy as it'll be more portable.

Fiona - I know what you are thinking but it's only a superstition honey

I ordered ours today, going to pick it up tonight when OH gets home from work :D

We went for this one cos it was such good value for money, everything (except the raincover) is included in the price whereas with other pushchairs the changing bags can be up to £50 extra

It seems so real now, theres actually going to be a baby in there in a few months  lol

that's quite clever...

Thanks hun, Its very small too which is a bonus coz the boot of my car is teeny lol! i hated pushing my travel system about coz it was huge and kept bumping into things, getting stuck in shops and pulling stuff down with me  only used it for 6 months here and there, ive still got it in top condition so may sell it on ebay  its the mothercare trenton in latte if anyone wants it? got all the bits and bobs to go with it except carry cot as it didnt come with it when i bought it.

The trenton is the one we've just bought

The size of it is the only thing Im not sure of, it looked alright in the shop but now that its home its HUGE! Its just really bulky...we'll end up getting a stroller within a few months

Got mine yeasterday, went for the Bebe Confort Loola got a great deal and fits in my tiny KA boot  strange how you feel a sense of relief! Mum says gotta keep it at hers though  prob a good idea as i would keep "trying" it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Went to babycare centre originally, So expensive but they let me try all the prams in my boot :D so that was helpful then i went online and saved 200 quid :rotfl: :rotfl:

Lol yeah it didnt look too big in the shops to me either!!
It is lovely, especially cozy in the winter, but was definitly a hassle! Getting it in and out of the boot was hard work too as its so damn heavy! Not good for recovery after birth!
Its too long for me. We bought another one after a few months too, couldnt handle the size of it. Kept getting wedged in doors and taking rails of clothes down with me in shops
U can still send urs back and just buy mine for £150  That way you'll have cash left over for the stroller you'll buy a few months after lol! We have had 4 pushchairs so far  On our 5th now with the new one
http://www.mothercare.com/gp/product/B0 ... 1&mcb=core
Thats the one we have used the most, its been the lightest and smallest folded :) bought that when Jaycee was 7 months old and took it to Lanzarote with us to see my dad :D Was fantastic! We still use it now! Its cool coz the new pushchair ive got is so similar to that one! I love it! U can also get it in a travel system at £159
Its all well and good buying these massive expensive travel systems, but at the end of the day, they are only used for a couple of months :( and you end up buying strollers! Even if the travel system converts to a stroller, we always end up buying 4 pushchairs for one child :rotfl:
Tried telling my friend that when she bought her mamas and papas pushchair for over £300   he's only 3 months old and shes already shopping around for a smaller one

We got it out the box last night and built it all and OH put the box in the back yard...no chance of taking it back now

Im a bit gutted cos I really wanted the loola but wasnt gonna pay £500 for it. I didnt know ebay had it for less than we paid for ours :wall: :wall: :wall:

I think theyve got a bloody cheek charging that much for a pushchair! :shakehead:
