Has anyone had awful diarrhoea in 3rd tri?

Hi ladies, not posted on here for ages as been so busy at work, hope everyone is well!

I'm off work poorly today as had awful diarrhoea all night, literally a bout every hour. I'm just wondering if it's a bug or could it be pregnancy related? I've been to doctors this morning to give a urine sample as have a possible UTI as well so generally feeling pretty sorry for myself!

Has anyone else suffered with diarrhoea around 27/28 weeks? Xxx

There is a lot of this bug going round at mo - I know a few people who have it/ have had it. Make sure you keep your fluids up and get plenty of rest hun xx

Yes I had it with period cramps, it was like water they said it was a viral to me.

I have it but depends what I've eaten. I've just started being sick yesterday and today again. Where was this glow we are meant to get? It never came and visited me xx

I had the sickness last week and rang the midwife. All the sickness and diarrhoea bugs are going round and affecting a lot of pregnant women. Make sure you drink plenty of water with either end that it comes from x

Nice to see you hun, was thinking of u the other day. Sorry this post isn't a fab one tho. I'm either constipated or running to the loo with diahorrea, lasts nights was the worst for a while.

Aw thanks ladies! I have missed you all! Hope you're all getting on okay? Can't believe we are in tri 3 already! I'm really not enjoying my job at the moment, out of 3 people who do my job 1 has just left at short notice and not been replaced yet and the other has just gone on long term sick, which only leaves me left to do everyone's work! So been so busy and stressful, Hence why I've not been around much roll on maternity leave eh!

Sorry to hear a few people have been poorly with similar things, it's horrible! Sounds like it could well be a bug or virus then. I've not had any more since yesterday lunchtime but still feeling pretty weak and sick, going to phone in sick again to work again today and send DS to nursery so I can totally rest on the sofa and hopeful catch up on this forum a bit! Hope everyone feels better soon the end is in sight girls! Xjdx the glow has completely forgotten to visit me this time too! Xxx

I'm tri 2 but just recovering from an awful episode of sickness and diarrhoea, no idea what caused it, something I ate or a bug I picked up somewhere.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who missed right out on the pregnancy glow, I just feel and look the same as usual!

Sorry youve had this x if it helps ive not had a tummy bug but for 4 -5 weeks now ive had very soft stools that cause me stomach ache and to get hot etc! Then after I go I'm fine.

It's very odd as pre pregnancy and tri 1 and 2 i was bunged up!
