At 9.10am. Have no idea how all three of us will be dressed, fed and out of the house by 8.45am
When I was on hospital after giving birth the midwife noticed that when Harry cried he made a funny sound
This ended in the paediatrician coming to see him to have a listen in to him. They think that he has a floppy larynx (also called stridor?)
Basically his voice box is a bit soft so when he gets upset and crys it closes a bit and he makes a funny noise-hard to explain
Apparently they can grow out of it and they didn't seem overly concerned but we've been referred to the ear nose and throat doctor
Felt fine about it til today when I've started crapping myself that something will be wrong with him. Coiled with my hormones I keep crying when he crys which is only when he wants feeding
He gets himself worked up and then takes a while to latch. Then I get stressed about it all
Once he's latched and calmed down he's fine but I guess it's only natural to worry
Trouble is it stresses out hubby too and we both end up upset. On Wednesday night my husband cried for the first time since I've been with him (5years)
Just wondered if anyone had any experience of stridor? Don't think anyone will but just needed to write it down and get it out of my head
