Well ladies, been an exciting two days so far, as some of you know was in hospital yesterday to be induced, had pessary in at 1.10 and felt fine, was let loose round the hospital and went for a long walk with mark to get things going, got back to triage and was starting to get contractions along with back pains.
About 5pm the contractions were coming every minute and lasting for 30 seconds, so was strapped to a monitor to monitor baby's HB, was fine, got examined at 7 and this is where the story changes I hadn't dialated at all in the 8 hrs I'd had the pessary in and I was having too many contractions for my body to cope with, so the decision was made for an emergency section to be carried out.
Finally harry was born at 10.18pm on monday 19th march 2012 and weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and he's absolutley beautiful! Love him to bits xxx
We had some trouble breast feeding at first but he's sure got the hang of it now!
