Hi,

I got a faint bfp on Tuesday after ttc for almost 8 months with a short luteal phase of just 8 days, I am so nervous but excited at the same time. I'm only 2 weeks but so worried that my boobs are going to be an early give away as they are getting massive already lol

you will be more than 2 weeks....if you find a due day calculator online and put the date of your last period in and your cycle length it will tell you how far along you generally count how many weeks since ovulation and then add 2 weeks to it as a rough guide - so you are more likely around 4 weeks and maybe a few days

Thanks for that, it is all confusing to me at the moment! lol. I just had a look and it reckons I'm 5+1! It's because I did a clear blue digi the other day and thats since you 'conceived'. All these dates and terms!

that's okay - it confused me when I had my 1st - wondered where these extra weeks suddenly came from, lol.

5 +1 sounds good to me - did it give you an estimated due date.....your dates will all be confirmed at your first scan.

Yeh beginning of March, but I want to get the dreaded first trimester out the way first! Every little twinge and I think it's going! Never thought it would be this nerve-racking! Xxx

Hi Peach wow we're kind of close with dates! Ha I know, why tell you you're two weeks pregnant if you never actually are two weeks! At least it makes the first few weeks go quicky! So how long did it actually take to sink in for you? I'll just be washing up or cooking and suddenly it hits me, and I'm left amazed and then I kind of forget again!! X
