Aw thanks everyone! Thank you for the birthday wishes!

I was 29 today - eeek!

I've had a brilliant day. We had free passes for Edinburgh Zoo today so went there and saw the new chimp enclosure, the penguin parade and various other animals, then went to Luca's (local Italian ice cream cafe) for some coffee and ice cream on the way home. Tonight a friend babysat so OH and I went to the flicks and saw Slumdog Millionaire, which I LOVED. I had ice cream (yes again!) and a huge tub of cinema salted popcorn which I'd been craving for weeks - however I brought the remainder of the tub of popcorn home with me and have just found a grey curly hair in my mouth in amongst my mouthful of popcorn after eating nearly the whole massive tub .

Apart from the pube-in-popcorn incident, an excellent birthday! I'm going for lunch with my girlfriends tomorrow to a baby unfriendly place (OH has DD) - yay! Posh girly lunch!
