Handing in Notice

What do I need to say in my letter of notice to my boss? I am required to give 6 weeks notice so want to hand it in today.

as much or as little as you want to... depends on your manager and reason for leaving.... something along the lines of I am giving you 6 weeks notice of me leaving to take up a new position in order to further my skills and career base.... if they have been good to work for then something you have got out of the area,

It's the exact same area of nursing that I work in now but it's in a new location. Me and oh are moving near family. Dead chuffed!
