So this year I'm doing a big hamper for my mum and 2 little ones for my older girls :)

But I need more ideas :yay:

I did one for my mum the other year and picked a colour theme of blue and just bought her loads of little blue things, from chocolate in a blue wrapper to blue napkins lol :)

Awww very cute :)

I'm think of doing all her favourite teas, biscuits, face cream etc and maybe some pyjamas/slippers :)

Ooh those little travel toiletries from superdrug are great fillers too :)

for the girls, amazing slippers and purses or bags (river island for all of above!) make up, music, small ipod shuffle if ur spending that much?? top ups for their phones? fave sweets, perfume ,

basically all their girly bits!

sounds like u have ur ma sorted, but maybe a nice voucher for her hair or a massage or summit in the arse of the hamper? xxx

Lisa the girls ones I'm not sure I should put all their unwrapped stuff in it and do big ones for them too? They could give me the baskets afterwards

Oh snuggy blanket, fluffy socks, share bags of crisps :yay:

When we were kids my mum used to do big hamper things for us but she used to wrap stuff we already had to bulk it out!! Lol!! The memories!!
xxxx

How about getting the girls involved in making stuff for your mums?

so christmas cookies and cards, maybe getting a notebook and getting them to decorate the front - or a diary for 2012 :)

Great idea hun :yay: Makes it more personal too xx

fab ideas!! i think i might pinch these ideas mamafy for my granny, shes a soppy old mare and wud be in her element! she hates us spending money unnecessarily when she has everything and REALLY appreciates heartfelt gifts! im loving this thread! xx

im going to do this i think and shove in a fish pedicure for my mum if she likes it (were having a go this wknd!!)

I do a hamper for my sister every year - I just pick stuff up through the year and bulk it with face masks, sweets etc. I always get a 'big' thing as well... last year it was a choc fondue set!

Last year I done it for family though as well, it was great! I maybe spent a little more than usual but I had spread it though the year! Personalised things are great - I got a few personalised calenders from vistaprint and put them in - they are pretty cheap!

They are good for birthdays as well - I done one for my OH's 21st! I got him 21 presents :D

Good idea all round though :) xxx

I've decided to make one for my mum / mil and my girls,

With my girls ones (aged 7 & 6) im going to do a pamper / girlie night in, which will hopefully include some of the following

sweets
popcorn
lip gloss - kiddie one
stickers
girly tattoos
nail varnish
bubbles
bath soaps
bath mit

was also thinking of face masks but dont know if they make childrens ones ?

I love doing hampers of all kinds! Its all stuff I make myself...chutneys, chilli or garilic oils, sugar scrubs, calendars with all our pics on and personalised birthday dates for eveyone who gets one, sweets, cookies, mince pies, cupcakes, cards, jewellery...all sorts!

Im loving some of your ideas and will be adding a few of them in my hampers this year xxx
