Today I had my 20 week "midwife" appointment. As per usual the MW wasn't available today (cancelled her surgery for some reason) so I got to see another GP. This time it was a different one and he was really nice, friendly and chatty.
My BP was good (140/70) which was a relief, no problems with urine, tummy measurement was 20cm - exactly what it should be and, best of all, Dr. found baby's heartbeat instantly (it was 152bpm).
After all the checks Dr. and I had a little chat, he asked how I was feeling, I said "great" .... apart from the odd twinge down below around the pubic bone area. He said that was ligament pain where the pelvis was stretching and nothing to worry about.

I forgot to ask for my MAT B1 form so have to go back for that tomorrow.
When I came out I tried to book my next appointment with the MW only to find she "isn't doing a surgery that day" AGAIN.
