Hair dye advice

Hi Girls
I usually have my hair dyed bleach blonde every 6 weeks. I am just wondering has anyone else done this while pregnant or is it best to leave it or have blonde but not bleach as bleach is really strong
advice please

Hi, I think you're able to carry on as normal with dying hair etc, from what I've read online anyway x

I'm sure you're allowed to dye your hair as usual however I tend to avoid it in the first 12 weeks, but due to an upcoming wedding in my 10th/11th week (fingers crossed bean sticks around of course), I think I'm going to have to get a non ammonia (got to be that bit better hasn't it?) dye and just bite the bullet.

I had the same kind of question. I cancelled my hair dye appt last week and just had a cut, don't know if I will keep it up, but I suspect I'll wait for 12 weeks. I get the impression from the NHS advice that they don't really know...But it suggests some wait 12 weeks, and 3-4 dyes over 9 months would only subject you to low levels of the harmful chemicals.

You could also get highlights slightly away from the scalp maybe? I have dark hair with light roots it's a mess already!

I opted for highlights for this reason. I just didn't want to risk it x
