Well I had my sweep yesterday. For anyone thats due to have one, don't worry. It is uncomfortable but totally bearable and so worth it if it helps things move along. 
The consultant told me my cervix was favourable, soft and stretchy and looking good. She seemed quite hopeful it might start things along. I haven't had any pain but lots of feeling of heavy pressure down below and I started losing my plug this morning so hopefully its a sign that things may be happening. Hopefully soon, I really want to get home for Christmas so send me lots of labour dust please girls.
