Had my MW booking in appointment today

My midwife is so lovely. It was a lot more thorough thatn I remember!
Weight, height, BMI, urine and 4 lots of blood all sent of for various things.
We discussed the downs test and i will be having bloods taken at the 12 week scan for the combined test.
My 12 week scan will be 4th April - I can't wait!!!
It all seems really real now.
We discussed my previous labours and I will be seeing a consultant because of the traumatic delivery last time.
I feel like I'm in really good hands this time (at Liverpool Womens this time)
Feeling very positive (and still sick!!) xx

Got my hand held notes too, which makes it feel real xx

Thanks Sarah, it was really good. A student took my blood and she was really nervous but did it really well. She said a lot of ladies won't let her do it so she gets no practice. I dont worry about bloods so I just told her to go for it and she was really good x

Arh really pleased to hear it went well and extra pleased the midwife was nice, I'm sure that makes all the difference. So we are on the countdown to the scan now......

Ahhh glad it went well hun, i rang my doctors and theyve said im going to have the date of my scan by wednesday im so excited not had any appointments yet and it doesnt feel real! xxx
