Had a little accident!

On Sunday I was washing up a glass when I had a sudden pain in between my little finger and the other finger, when I looked at it I had a very deep cut and you could see right down to the bone! I went to hospital where they were concerned about the tendons in my finger. The cut was so deep they thought the glass had ripped through the tendons and muscles but in the end they gave just me 3 stitches! One of the stitches has come out so I have a half open wound but that will soon heal itself.

Oh you poor thing, I done something similar aged 16, be careful it will heal up just fine, mine did and you can't even see the little scar anymore. Hope your doing ok xx

Ouch!!!! look after yourself.... do you think you should go to your GP and get it re-stitched?

I could go and get it re stiched but it's in such an awkward place they'll probably just tell me to let it heal as it is. I've got it covered with a bandage to stop infections getting into it so hopefully it will be ok.

Ouch sounds painful.

If you have any at home you could always put some steri strip paper stitches over the cut to keep the ends together.

I hope it heals up soon. Having an injury on your hands is very awkward.
