Just to give some of you some info on these classes
-Watched a video sooooo scary actually showed the births etc
-we were explained about pain relief
-and saw the labour wards and rooms. Leather chairs, microwave, kettle, fridge
and at this hospital Russells Hall they are trialing partners staying in overnight to push families being together. They provide a single bed in same room for the partner but wont get fed by the hospital lol!!
The birthing pool was engaged but they had another room which looked ace, it was massive and had balls, foam matts and machines (looked like a gym, at first i thought i was a communal room) but its all stuff to help baby get in position, there was a bath too and bed so you give birth in there then move to a room! This looked so good if its free when my time comes i might use it
Dont think i will go to next weeks class as its about changin nappies and bathing babies etc and because i didnt get home till 10.30 pm from the last one its too exhausting in these cold dark nights, plus my mommy can help me with the above hehehhehe xxxx
