Has everyone heard what she has calle dher latest baby boy???!!!

Moses
So she has moses and Apple!

Does she not think how cruel kids can be at school?!
Mind you they wont go to normal school will they.

LOL maybe she got confused and thought you had to name a kid after the basket you put it in

Lol

If it is named after her partner chris martin it will be moses martin!! and Apple martin sounds like a pudding!! LOl

I though Moses was an okay name. Admittedly not what I would use but not as wacky as some names.

Personally I love both names. I think Apple is really cute, and what's wrong with Moses? I'm not religious, but what's wrong with choosing a biblical name? Isn't Noah one of the most popular names around now??

Celebrities have been calling their chrildren 'out of the ordinary' names for years.
Zowie Bowie??

And I haven't even started on the Phoenix family!!
River, Rain, Joaquin, Liberty and Summer!! And any of these who have had children have called them unusual names as well - Rio Everest, Scarlette Skye, Jonas Winter, Indiana August. If they were teased at school, they would have called their children 'ordinary' names.

They are not going to go to a normal school anyway, and their schoolfriends will all be celebrity children and probably called something similar.

Well, that's my rant over for the day!!!

Apparently moses was names after a song chris martin wrote for Gwyneth a long time ago, called Moses.

Its not that it's a biblical name i just don't think like it personally but everyone is different.

Hmmm not sure I would pick the name myself, but then alot of people didn't like Damien's name (the whole devil/666 thing) when I said I wanted to name him that. Each to their own I guess, as long as they love him :)

I don't really mind it, I prefer more unusual names anyway...my nan didn't like Brody for a name at ALL!

I can top that - my brother called his new daughter Shania Roxette!!!!! :?

We're thinking of continuing the musical theme and calling our next one Cher Def Leppard!

I like names that aren't really common (Even though my kids are called Jack and Amy!!) but round near me the kids can be so cruel and i don't want my children to be bullied because of unusual names. School is hard enough for kids these days.

I know quite a few children with unusual names Summer leigh, Paris, Miles,

But like i said everyone is different in what they prefer.

These days I think unusual names are very popular - in fact, I look through the birth announcements in our local paper every week, and it's quite rare to find a child with a 'traditional' name.

One of my American friends has a niece called Chlamydia, nothing is as bad as that!

cloughie i like shania roxette! everyone has different opinions like with anything, but personally id HATE to be called chlamydia, it sounds quite pretty like a flower, but its the fact it is an STI

Thats AWFUL calling your child Chlamydia!

Moses is different, but each to their own I suppose. I like names that are not traditional but then there are some traditional names I really like saying that!!! I think my children will have names that are a little bit out of the ordinary but nothing totally weird or anything.

When did Gwynnie have him?

At the weekend, I didn't realise she was that far.

I have a friend called Carrie Mycock!! Oh the fun we had as kids!! lol

Your right Yvonne it is mean to give your kids stupid names. All you have to do is think to yourself, 'would they have chosen that name for themselves?' I don't think so...

I actually quite like the name 'Moses.'
Wouldn't use it for a name choice though.

Not sure about Apple though.

I guess each to their own, i cant really comment im sure people say 'fancy calling a child Charlotte, how old fashioned id THAT?!'
I think calling a child chlamydia is plain cruel though....im presuming they know what it means?? Hardly a nice meaning like 'summers morning' or 'precious'

I love charlotte, its a really girly name

All the old names are coming back, i picked Jck, even Kim said it reminds her of am old man!!
Wait til i tell Jack that his future mother in law picks on his name!! ha ha ha

Thanks Yvonne :)
I like Jack too.....it sounds lovely with Rubie...Awwwwwww
