Hi girls,
Sorry I haven't been on for the last few days-my little boy has been in hospital. He has been diagnosed as ahving Guillane barre syndrome which is a condition which affects the nerves in your body. We noticed he was having difficulty getting around so I took him to the docs who sent him straight to the hospital. They did load of tests then transferred us to a specialist at a different hospital and tried to do a lumber puncture but it didn't work as he wouldn't stay still.Eventually he was diagnosed and we came home today. There is no treatment for the condition but will eventually go, although he will nedd physio and not be able to go to school full time for a while. It is so hard to see him like this when he has always been so active. We have to carry him upstairs and to the car-it is heartbreaking.
It has really put everything into perspective for us and I think that as Keiran will need lots of support and patience in the coming months we wil be putting TTC on hold for a while.
Anyway sorry to go on , hope everyone had a good easter
Paula
