grrr why are people so opinunated

just cas my husband was a screamer as a baby doesn't mean our baby is going to be a screamer i keep getting told this it's driving me mad why do people feel they have to tell me this all the time? i know when your pregnant your public property but still grrrr

I have a friend who keeps telling me that boys (she specified it) get more hungry more often and like to play with their meals and make a mess when they start weaning - and she is the only person I've told 'cause we decided not to reveal the sex to anyone !!!

Also, she used to ask me every week if we have bought anything for the baby/room yet and when we finally did, she started coming up with lots of advice on what NOT to buy... like for example mistakes that she learned from etc.... but it was too late then !
