Something really really silly but it's made me alittle sad. We've had a letter from Evie's nursery saying she is being moved from the baby room into the next room in June. Just made me realise she is no longer a baby, they grow up too quickly don't they

On a funnier note they had one of the bigger kiddies in with the babies today and Evie was really taken with her, she followed her round everywhere. They were sat at the table and this girl was having her picture taken, Evie was sat next to her and the photo shows the girl smiling nicely at the camera and Evie reaching over to nick her biscuit  That's my girl!!!

Love it!! Know what you mean - when Harrison became a 'tweenie' instead of a baby it made me gulp a bit. xxx

 Bless her trying to take the biscuit!

I know exactly how you feel though...they do grow up far too fast :( I feel like Toby should still be a little newborn baby, not sitting and trying to crawl and eating food!

I also know what you mean, my boy begins full-time nursery in September and it brings a lump to your throat!

I totally understand. Yesterday Lil Miss took steps whilst I was holding her hands. Steps?! She can't even go forward with crawling yet! Seems like yesterday she was a lil 8lb-er.

My 'baby' is nearly 6!!! 6!! How did that happen?! Everyone warned me that they grow up too fast and I ignored them! Doh! x

Thanks everyone. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels sad at this.

It's really silly as she is walking loads now and learning new words everyday, but that letter for some reason really hammered it home that she is no longer a baby xx

Oh i know what you mean.. my dd recently turned 1 and its so sad. On the one hand you want them to progress and develop and on the other you want them to always be your baby. Think thats partly why we're ttc again.
