Ill have to get used to tough overcooked meat from now on! lol

lol - my OH cooked me a fried egg sarnie last night and the egg was so well cooked i nearly broke a tooth on it. Yay overcooked pregnancy food!

Its horrible isnt it, i love steak but its nowhere near as nice all crispy! We have to make some sacrifices though. I miss chucky eggs and fried eggs with runny centres :( x x

I had a rare steak at the start of my pregnancy, i didn't relise they had to be well done! As for eggs, as long as the whites cooked, i don't think it matters about it being runny! I have about 2-3 runny eggs a week and it hasn't done me or little man any harm!

I thought it was a runny yolk that was a no no?
i love fried eggs!!! xxx

I also thought runny yolk was the no no - I was told basically only hard boiled eggs - no runny eggs with dipping soldiers! x

I don't think your meant to have runny yolks but ive carried on having them!

runny eggs is to do with samunella you can always do the water test first if it sinks egg is fine if it floats its not.

first thing im gonna make my man do when ive had the baby is make a big fat rare stake with a runny egg on top :-)

All through the last part of my pregnancy with Adam i told my OH the first meal he was making me was chucky egg and solders and he did, the only thing was id spent so long moaning that i couldnt eat runny eggs, that i never actually wanted it, good job he loves me x x

I went out for dinner when I was very early, and I did sneak a steak in, lots of blood hmmmmmm. And baby is fine. I think they have to be ott with the what to eat and what not to just so there are no doubts that a baby would be lost or harmed. I must admit, I havent been eating healthy! I love mcdonalds and kfc and have done all my life lol I had veg one a week id say but I do make it up with tonnes of fruit. I havent changed anything in my diet. God! How BAD do I sound lol. I think I need to rethink my diet lol!

My husband was on about doing steak this week and ive told him if he sits and eats a nice pink steak infront of me when i have to chew on an overcooked one i will cry :( also i do love pate on toast :( but its only 9 months hardly that long really... thankfully im not a huge egg fan.. but i always though you could have dippy eggs as long as white was cooked? ..

I lived on mcdonnalds in tri 1! It's the only thing i could keep down when i had morning sickness!!

My midwife said you can only eat egg if the yolk is completely cooked. Like when it goes flakey. I cannot stand the white bit of an egg so I only dip the egg yolk and chuck the rest lol. I used to get in alot of trouble for being wasteful lol.

I wouldnt want to risk eating the yolk running personally. xxxxx

I really feel for you Cherelle... That is torture! Have an extra pudding to make up for it :-)

i dont like pink meat i like my meat well done so thats easy for me hubby is the same if i see blood or pink i cant eat it anyway so im not missing out lol

I didn't change my diet at all when I got my BFP, I think the only things that i've stayed away from are things that I don't eat anyway! It's been runny eggs and rare steaks all the way for me :D Even with the occasional glass of wine, hehe. I know i'm naughty but I really am of the oppinion of "how the hell did babies survive before all these 'do's and dont's' come in?!"

xxxx

Im with you hun, and our lil man is cooking nicely. A little bit of what you fancy doesnt do any harm :) The only thing ive steered clear of is the cheese they advise you not to eat and booze. But cant say it will be as easy to ignore the cheese around christmas time!

Girls you are making me sooo hungry! I miss fried eggs so much and a nice juicy steak , they're not worth having if they're overcooked and crispy!
