Do any of you ladies have any good recommendations on transitioning from bottle to juice cup?

I really want isabel to be off 'bottles' and drinking juice/milk/water from a juice type cup before her first birthdays but I'm struggling as she prefers drinking out of a bottle teat as it soothes her too. Any ideas?

We have a Nuby cup. It feels the same as a bootle teat but is shaped differently. It lets water out when they touch the teat. We tried a Tommee Tippee sippy cup first but my LO couldn't get the water out. My friend has moved her LO to the Nuby one too x

We have the basic tommee tippee free flow cup with handles. I tried a few others but Ethan seemed to get this one best. He can't do it himself v well but manages fine now if I hold it for him. If isobel likes to suck on her bottles maybe go for a valved beaker that she has to suck on too. U can get ones that u can remove the valve later when u want it to b free flow. The one Mrs CW suggested sounds good too xx

I have silicon type ones (tommee tippee) and I've been trying her with water/juice in them and she refuses. However I swapped over to her milk today and because it was her milk she took it straight away. Going to try her bedtime bottle with it again and hopefully I may have the beginning of the bottle teats going! :)

Thanks

We struggled with the cups that have valves in them. We found it a lot easier with the open spouted ones x

We've got a free flow one too and Angel has only just started picking it up and drinking from it herself, I first tried her on this at 4 months so it's taken 4.5 months for her to do this lol. xx

TT do a cup with a soft teat that is easy to drink from and non spill as long as nothing is knocking the teat its easy for lo to drink from but still shaped like a sippy cup spout. Alyssa can use it and knows how to drink out of it, shes just not too good at lifting the cup up yet lol. she got the idea of how to drink from this easily and i think its a good halfway point between the hard spouted cups and bottles.

She's taken to the tommee tippee sip teats (same material as the bottle teats) and is drinking from them fine. The problem has been her not wanting juice / water and not the fact that she won't drink from them. So begins the process of trying to get her drinking more than just her milk :/

Thanks for all of your help ladies.

Tapatalking so can't see tickers :(

I've tries one like that but the sippey bit is too hard. I am using the ones that are made from the same material as the bottle teats and she seems to be taking it ok so far. Definitely think its because she didn't want water or juice and wanted milk instead hence refusing it in the first place.
Thanks for the pic though. Hopefully will get to that stage
