Can't believe I'm actually posting here! My beautiful girl was born at 10.27 am on the 1st of May!
I had an induction date for the eighth of may & although things weren't too good I thought this plan wouldn't change!
Had my last fetal medicine scan on Monday the 29th April & they weren't too happy with her growth estimating 4 pound 12 oz (only 2oz added since the growth scan 2 weeks prior) - they decided to admit me Monday night with the plan of an even earlier delivery
Tuesday morning at 11 minutes past 8 (gosh as if I remember these things) I was took down to the induction suite to have a pessary put in which'd stay for 24 hours. Although it didn't! Had the pessary and was put back on the trace after 5 hours which was showing decelerations of her heart, they decided to break my waters as I was 2cm dialated - that was so uncomfortable! (But I've forgotten the pain now) they then decided to keep me on the trace which showed that breaking my waters helped but decels still happened at around 1am on the 1st of May I had the hormone drip put in (they had to wait until theatre was empty just incase I needed a section) and I also had the epidural.. I wasn't really coping with my contractions and they wanted to get it in again incase they had to section (can be used instead of a spinal block) - checked at 5am.. Still two cm and drip was being turned up every hour checked again at 8 with a consultant review and because I wasn't dilating - he said if in another four hours they checked me and I was still the same they'd section because of the decels.
My pains started getting really intense (even with epi) - epi was patchy and ended up not working in my left side. I was screaming and crying and I was told its just 'early labour' & that I'd be okay. I ended up having to use g&a to help me breath through it & it did help and I felt so drunk and life was great! Lol.
The trace started showing dips with baby's heartrate and the midwife kept asking me if i felt pressure in my bum, which I did a bit but I thought it was constipation at around 10 she decided to check if I was any further than 2cm still because of the pain - she checked I was fully dilated with babas head being 'right there' lol then the easy part was the pushing! Five pushes and she was out. One tear and a few grazes.
It was so emotional and amazing its still a big shock really, after all the horrible stuff through out pregnancy & here I am posting about my beautiful girl.
We'll have to stay in hosp til around Saturday because her being prem they need to make sure her temps are staying around the same! Her blood sugars have all been fine so they have stopped pricking my poor baby now lol
Here's a few pictures. All I want to do is take pictures of her! Xx

Thank you to everyone who followed my journey and wished me luck with everything. Thanks to my lovely bump buddy Linny for my induction thread & thanks to all of the other PF ladies for being such an important part of my life for the last few months!
will still stay (no getting rid of me) xx
