When I rang the docs at 4 weeks to tell them I'd had a bfp they told me to leave it a couple of weeks and ring them back.
I rang them at 6 and went in for an appointment and was told that there's no point in them doing a test because HPT's are just as sensitive as theirs so I was told congratulations and to make a midwife appointment on the way out and that was it.
I think they will only blood test you if you are very late for your AF and you are getting either BFN's or very faint BFP's on HPT's.
leave it a few more days and test again to see if the lines have got stronger.
