got my growth scan later.....

i'm soooo bored, waiting for my scan its at 4.10 pm & the day is dragging!!!

a bit nervous coz having the scan to assess babys size plus the amount of amniotic fluid i'm carrying, the midwife thinks i have a lot.

seeing the consultant straight after who will go through the findings.

lets hope he says 'right i want you induced in 2 wks!!!'

Good luck! That would be great if you got induced early

I was told at my last appointment my baby is big but she didn't do a fundal measurement, I don't know if they do it here. I have another appointment next week so I'm dying to know if the baby is big because my stomache is huge! I want to be reassured its fluid or baby because I can't have put on that much fat surely? I can't imagine how much bigger I'll get in 10 weeks, its scary!

yeah i know, i have measured big all the way through & i know the dates are correct as i have 2 very early scans, at my midwife app on tues i was measuring 41 cm
she did say though that it could be affected by how the baby is lying & stuff.
its not good to have to much fluid either so i hope rather that baby is big & its not a problem with the fluid.

the reason she said this was that she had to feel a way down on my belly before she got to the baby, so it COULD indicate a lot of water.

i hope baby is ok.

when you next go get your midwife to measure you!!
