Do you know what she will go through with me?

She'll ask you looooaaads of questions about your medical history - be prepared for some weird ones such as 'are you and the father related by blood' They have to ask I suppose!

She'll also explain the schedule of care you'll receive - when you'll have scans/further appointments etc, and what screening tests are available and whether you want them or not (such as screening for STI's, downs syndrome etc - some are offered everywhere, others vary depending on which NHS trust you're looked after)

You may also have some bloods taken and a urine sample, but again, this varies from trust to trust - it may be your dating scan when these are taken.
