got a letter

saying that they are investigating our benefit claim. Theres nothing wrong with it as far as we're concerned, we've provdied everythign thats been asked for and havent jimmy -rigged anything but its just a bummer. Couple qns:

Our letter said that it was this fraud office somewhere on behalf of our council. Does that mean that its just he benefit coming from there.....?? (sorry is thats a stupid qn)

Does that mean someones been bitchy and reported us?

My friend is a benefit investigator and she says most of the time they act off tip offs. These days it's Facebook that catches everyone out too. I'm sure if they're acting off tip offs they will tell you.

I figured as much but the thing is there's NOTHING to tip of so someones just been a cow or they have misintrepreted something........ X grrr if they gotta do it then they gotta do it (investigate) its just inconvenient xcheers gemma x
