Got a date for my first scan

My doctors surgery just phoned to say my first scan will be on 26th Sep (my birthday!) when I'm 10 weeks What a cool birthday pressie
I have the first one at the surgery, and subsequent one's at the hospital in Aberdeen. 4 and a bit weeks to wait!, but still...better than 6

Cool, I have yet to even book to see my doctor, figured I would leave it a bit longer, from what I hear they don't do much anyway so will probably leave for a week or so

ah that is great news you must be so pleased. I cant wait to get my scan date I am so looking forward to it. I have my first midwife appointment in 3 weeks when I will be 11 weeks and I am hoping to get the scan appointment for 12 weeks in the post fingers crossed!

That's fab and really quick, I have to wait for my date coming through the post and it isn't here yet. You must be really excited now you know when you are gonna see your baby for the first time and on your birthday as well

Yay, luck you, I'm seeing teh midwife in a week and a half so hopefully i'll get my scan before 12 weeks too i'm going away with some friends just after i turn 12 weeks so it would be nice to tell them and show the pictures

Ive booked my first scan for 22nd sept when i will be almost 12 weeks (booked private as NHS cant cope with me moving round the country - so much for NATIONAL health lol)

cant wait!! just want that reassurance that everythings growing in the right place and stuff
