well he finally had his wrist cast off on monday and they told him that his leg bone was aligned and tht the bone just needed to harden up. apparently when a bone is healing its a kind of solid liquid (if tht makes sense) at first and hardens up to proper bone when you put weight thru it. He was expecting to have it on for another ten weeks yet but theres a possibilty that it may be off in six weeks! 
im really hoping that it gets taken off at his next appointment, he's been getting depressed lately but only told me how he's been feeling the other night. i probably havent helped by nagging about the housework, but at least i know now so i can give him a bit of slack.
So im taking him to falmouth next weekend for a few days away, visit my mum, take him for a meal and go for a small walk somewhere (even if i have to push him in the wheelchair lol) hopefully the change of scenery will do him good.
