Good midwife appointment

Baby is in fantastic position, head down and 4/5 palpable so heading down! Midwife thinks it was sucking its thumb as she felt the hand right down by the head

BP was fine which is really reassuring as it was this stage with ds1 I ended up in hospital all weekend for observation.

Next appointment is at 40+2 weeks but she said she's fairly confident I won't need that appointment! She's written 'awaiting events' in my notes and doesn't think I'll go overdue... but having said that I bet I do now!!!

Glad to hear all is going well and to schedule for you.

My next middy appt is on Monday, where I'll be 38+6. At my last appt at 36 weeks the baby was 2/5 engaged so is heading in the right direction. The only thing is I don't feel the house is ready yet so I'm hoping the baby doesn't arrive early ...

I'm happy for you to win the race for the 16th Dec due date babies.
