hi guys we are driving to france in two weeks and dont have alot of boot space but i need to take B some toys they cnt be to big n bulky tho ne ideas??

flippin hec! when your post said 'going away' i thought you were leaving the forum as well... thank god you're not!!!!!
don't scare me like that young lady :!:

sorry no idea about toys

to be honest i never thought beanie would leave... (unless she's created a new profile and is cruising secretly... dream on girl lol)

are the toys for when you get there or the trip?

that true but id be bored without this place lol
does seem quiet tho
for both really

i know, i come on here when she's feeding. bf is so boring otherwise
people might well come back eventually

i'm not too good with toys for older babies spec boys, but how about one of these toy arches that you can fix onto the car seat to keep him occupied in the car?

Stacking cups
They all fit inside each other and are one of the BEST toys for babies. Hours of fun.

didn't know about these, what do they look like?

what wrong with the toy arch thing sarah? why won't it fit on?

They're just cups that...er......stack, but they can knock them down and chew them and all sorts. They look boring but you'll have to trust me. Mason is 5 and STILL plays with his in the bath etc.

you can get them in woolworths.

they look cool! zoé's maybe a little too young but i'll have a look for some. i was imagining something more like russian dolls, i used to love them

what about one of those toys which has a suction thing to stick on the car window? or one of those mats that go on the back of the seat, so he can kick? there are different material and some have even light, and sound on them

Sarah.... hello (haven't spoken to you for a while!!!)

My son loved the ELC steering wheels when we travelled. A bit more bulky, but endless hours of entertainment!

Have a good holiday. I'll miss your jolly posts. Too quiet on here now - I need motivation to reply to posts. Feeling a bit odd since all the falling out. I want Beanie back and Rosieroo and Minikins and Kayl!! Things have been spoilt for everyone!

Anyway - enough said.
Hugs

ps. We've just ordered a new Touran - now we're twins!!! :D

Ahhhh Sarah... a bit gutted today. Have had to change to a VW Polo Classic. Going smaller as we're sending kids to private school and DH has convinced me today that we have to down-grade! Looks like he's not going to be getting any nookie for a while!!!! :D :D :(

Oh well.... from Sharan to Polo - now that's what I call SERIOUS downscaling, hey? Mind you - Polo has lots of extras..... whoopee whooo!!! I'm a bit miffed, but still chuffed I 'spose! Not complaining.... really!!! :D
