because mt bmi is high mw has said at 28 weeks i have to have a gtt if i want a home birth..ive never had any sugar in my urine.. so y do i have to have this test? if theres no sugar ever in my urine.. and at 28 weeks i go for normal bloods.. can i ask for a urine test, to see if i have any sugar in my urine? if i dont why should i have to have a gtt?

You don't have to do any tests you don't want to lisa&alex, the GTT will show up any issues, which are better monitored in birth and labour than not known about, and certainly no reason why you can't birth at home if all's progressing well for you and LO, very best wishes

I had GTT etc but not sure why they are sending you for one if everything is ok. Are you measuring ok for dates? i was between 3-5 weeks ahead on measurments some weeks so was sent....this could be another reason but your MW should have explained this to you.
