Hello new to the site, was hoping for some views on the name Amélie , i am 20 weeks and 3 days and am so so excited !

Yes had a Gender scan 2 weeks back and its 99.9% a girl .

Spent the last 3 hours on pc trying to decide on prams , one review says good the next says not so good !

I should'nt be stressing myself out , lol .

Pretty decided on Amélie, i love the name , but still trying to decide for sure and stick to it.

Aw congrats on pink bump! x I've always found that there'll always always always be someone with a positive opinion on the pram you choose and someone with a negative opinion! We have a mothercare travel system but my heart is set on the graco symbio! Lol x

Thanks Helen, i like the Icandy and Quinny prams, but they are very pricey, are they worth the extra expense, the reviews are good , but maybe just out my reach, i do like them tho, very quirky but practical too !

Just checked the Symbio, very nice , awww what to do , lol !

I prefer the symbio to the quinny, it's roomier and cheaper and IMHO easier to manouver/put up and down etc x I read a review that said it was heavy but going actually to the shop and messing with it I didn't find it heavy at all! x

I actually did have a wee shot of the Symbio in toys'r'us , but thought it very expensive too , but i can see it cheaper online elsewhere, its a nice pram and i too was impressed with it, great function for tilting the base and baby upwards, its a definite possibility, thanks for that !

No french connections in our family , but i just love the name and the way it looks , also like Emily/Emma, but thought Amélie was a little bit different/unusual and just came from nowhere, strange!

Thanks everyone, yes being a little bit different i think is good , but some people can be really different and go a bit over the top, each to their own though i suppose !
