getting ink off dolls heads ????

my 9 year old has just come downstairs in tears becasue Bethany my three year old has penned all over her baby annabel

I'd love to be able to get it off. Does anyone know of a magic tip to do this?

Alcohol based hairspray should work.....spray it onto a cloth then rub it over the marks, wash the area with soap and water afterwards.

oh thankyou. can u recommend a hairspray? i don't use them so i have no idea which will be alcohol based. Or are they all alcohol based oh my im so thick.

i was just going to reccomend hairspray as adle drew all over hers and gave it a hitler beard i just used the cheap one as i dont useit either and it worked it was like magic

I'm gonna try that on my cream leather chairs. They have biro on them and nothing has worked so far, I hope it brings it off!

But we forget that they can use pens to draw alover them with lol

You could try nail varnish remover as thats high in acetone which is a solvent???? Just a guess, I havent tried it.

Baby Wipes!!
When I worked in a shoe shoe shop, if any of the shoes got marked they used baby wipes, as it didnt harm the leather but worked brilianty at getting off marks.

dont use nail varnash remover it takes the coulour out of it and leaves it a buit scruffy looking been their and done it

try with abbay wipes if not go with tehhairspray on your suite harispray is great ive just used it on adeles carpet to get black crayon out

If hairspray doesn't work you could try sugar soap? I use it to clean allsorts and it's quite good. I bought the sugar soap from Homebase about 99p for a box

Kim - we used to have a cream leather sofa and found the best cleaner was saddle soap - what they use to clean Horse Saddles. I bought mine from John Lewis and it removes biro cos we had it on ours too!

Thanks Lucy, I might give it a try cos the baby wipes didn't bring it all off, just made it feinter. They are cream leather dining chairs, I don't suppose they are any different though

Stupid OH put his bag down on the chair with a biro in the bottom and somehow it drew all over the chair Bloody stupid men!!
