Funny things that have happened since being pregnant...

Hi,

Thought I'd start a fun thread where we can share funny things/symptoms that have appeared during pregnancy...

One that is really bothering me currently and there is no cure is blushing!! I blush at everything even if I'm not embarrassed. My partners dad gives me a hug... I blush. My friend touches my bump... Beetroot face! What's that about!?

Anyone else got any funny ones

My 18 month lb now grunts when he bends over to reach something.... he's been copying his mum!

I'm normally the person that is freezing all the time. I'll be sat at work with a coat, hat, gloves and scarf on. Nowadays I'm permanatly running at boiling temperature. Any room with a slightest bit of heating on and I break out in a full on sweat. I walked home from town the other day in the rain in just a sleeveless dress and leggings as I was so hot wearing my coat. I quite often go sit in the garden in the rain to cool off. It's driving my husband mad as I won't let him put the heating on at home at all!

Other than that I'm sure my attempts to try and get up off the sofa are becoming more and more hilarious as the weeks go by.

Ha yes I can relate to the sweating! It's like constant!!

"Baby brain" has struck already... my memory is awful lol. I forgot my eldest's hair appointment 2 weeks ago, and I tried to put tea bags in the fridge the other day (instead of the milk) Duh. LOL

I'm with you with the sweating thing, although I don't actually sweat I'm just warm all the time. Usually I'm freezing and would be wrapped in blankets etc at this time of year but I'm still sitting about the house in t-shirts. I've also still got our 4.5 tog summer duvet on the bed and quite often have the ceiling fan on at night! Hubby on the other hand has the 13 tog duvet on the spare bed lol.

Yeah we still got the summer duvet on. Although it has been crazily warm for this time of year! I still cannot stop blushing. It happens all the time at work in situations I'm usually comfortable in! Even if someone starts talking to me I can feel my face burning up, and then when I think about it it makes it worse. I'm dreading my last day incase they do any announcements!

How far along are you teegie?

I'm just 31 weeks. I had night sweats really early on but these constant hot flushes started around 28 weeks. It's so embarrassing!
