Can you tell Im waiting to OV and super bored. AF hasnt properly settled so sex cant even distract me.

Just thought it be a laugh to see what your guys TTC bad habits are.

Ill start:

You know your TTC when...

1. You bin tests and revisit the toilet bin 3 time to see if the result has changed.
2. Waking in the morning and saving your pee in a cup then dashing out after your toddler leaving OH to stumble upon a cup of pee.
3. Scheduling BD sessions without OHs acknowledgement bt would be furious if he was doing the same!
4. Getting so excited to have EWCM that you need to show OH
5. Stripping tests apart carrying them around the house to inspect each angle under the light to lime spot.

You try, I bet there are a few crackers.

And yes the above is actual events

xxxx

I stripped apart my first test today.. and as much as id like to share if I showed my DH my cm he'd say I'd gone too far lol.

1. You have a special box next to your loo that contains loads of opks, cheapos and pee cup.
2. Your bedside table permanently has C+, a thermometer and pen and paper on it.
3. If cm changes it throws you off totally and you make multiple notes incase it happens again.

Good job I'm having a break lol..

Spending more time with your butt and legs in the air AFTER sex than during :'D

You're more likely to know what cycle day you are than the actual day of the week x

Using a due date calculation site to work out what your due date would be each month if you're successful

Spending hours each day googling each potential symptom and whether it's linked to a bfp for others

Your OH checking for leakage whilst you've got your bum in the air after dtd (yes my OH actually does this - without being requested to I might add!)

Haha Love this thread!!!
I'm in my first TWW but... I am

1. Checking my nipples for pain allllll the time

2. Working out due dates like naomi88 haha

Lots of symptom spotting ahead methinks....

Xx

Good thread.

You know you've been TTC too long whe your body/brain gives you every pregnancy symptom under the sun in every TWW you do.

These are funny at least we know we all have the crazy TTC bug with "normal" symptoms lol.

Love the edd one, I look up mine every cycle I enter

xxxx

My app gives me my due date and I know its bad but I'm always picky about the month I'm due lol and I don't even know why because a baby at any month would be good!

This is my first cycle trying and so far I've been ovulation spotting which have been a sore mouth, crampy belly, headaches and then changes to my cm lol.

Why do we do it to ourselves, I need a hobby! Or several lol x

1. You have a special cupboard for all your vitamins.
2. Your OH tells you off for buying too many vitamins.
3. Your OH knows you're ovulating because suddenly you want to BD as much as possible and get cross when he says he's too tired.
4. You can tell other people that they are definitely pregnant, despite never having been pregnant yourself.
5. You don't want to book any holidays or change jobs 'just in case'.

I could of wrote this myself !!!!! :)

You can tell that you've been TTC too long when

1) you give up on all OV or PG symptom spotting, testing, etc, as it's just too stressful and depressing.

2) Despite this no way could you have a relaxed approach.

3) Also the time comes you want to hit people for asking whether you will have another one. Just mind you own f*ing business lol :)

OH and I were debating this a few nights ago, he as a guy says its a perfectly acceptable question to ask if your going to have another OR are/were you trying. He says we are OTT and I explained from a womans side as soon as you announce a pgnancy people want to ask was it planned, how long were you trying?

I find it rude!! I would never ask someone whether they are using protection or why, its intrusive. OH thinks Im irrational

He says guys ask each other all the time and its "cool". I dont find it cool for someone to enquire about my family planning.

I'm with you on this and really surprised by what your OH said!

Most people have given up asking when we are going to have children now (thank goodness), but I was in a bad mood one day and a male friend of mine who I work with asked a girl when she was going to have a baby. I went crazy at him! (She had told me earlier that they were going to start trying in 2016, but she might not want the whole of the office to know that!)

I've never actually minded being asked if baby was planned but I can see why others would.

You know you are TTC when:

1. ov and testing day are the most important days of the month.
2. When you call the first day of af CD1.
3. When you know what TTC, ov, af, and CD1 mean. Not to mention dpo, BBT, IB, BFP, BFN, FRER, CB, digi, IC, hpt, beta, hCG, LH, OPK, POAS, CM, EWCM, CP, SHOW, bd, dtd, LP, LMP, SMEP and 2WW.

 I dont even go by dates or days anymore.. Its CD...

I dont so much mind that question, but its the ones that follow. Mne will both be planned but its usually like work people, people that dont normally bother that want to know the ins and outs

xxxx

When ur diary is full of codes only people on here know about :D

Yeah or watch anything conception related and understand every process and all he short codes.

Feeling the need to educate OH as well, whos probably not one bit arsed

xxxx

1. Have a pill box with all types of vitamins
2. Having partner to tie your legs to the bed so none is wasted till after 20 mins
3. Having a pee hat and tubs on the bathroom shelf
4. Having pee stored in the fridge for a ttc study I'm doing :)
5. Partner Google your symptoms in the 2ww because I know I will over think my symptoms too much
6. Half a drawer full of Af arrival kits and other half bding.. Ovulation.. Pregnancy kits
Your phone contains 2 period trackers and logging every time you have sex
