full fat milk/ tap water before 12months?

E keeps drinking all of Ks drinks i mean, she's not far off being 1 so its not too bad! i know the little bits of milk wont do her any harm, but its the water i'm worrying about! i dont spose theres any way i can stop her drinking it tho! did anyone else switch to normal water at this sorta age?!

I was giving my son tapwater after he turned 6 months, it said in my NHS (birth to five) book that it was ok.

Hiya!

Whenever I childmind a baby under a year I always boil they're drinking water. However a little boy I care for at the moment never had anything steralised and has always had normal tap water to drink!! I've had him since he was 5 months old and he's now 13 months old and he's never been ill!!

At the end of the day it's your decision!

Thanks guys! I stopped sterilising around 6 months cos it just seemed pointless and I'm starting to think the same about boiling water!
