Full boobs in morning

Finally Evan is sleeping through at night, up to 11 hours which is great! Unfortunately I am waking up hours before him with rock hard boobs. I had to hand express before he woke this morning and didn't need to squeeze as it was spurting out lol!

Will this settle down as my body gets used to not feeding him through the night? I'm just struggling with sleeping myself so rolling over onto rock hard boob keeps waking me up.

Yes Hun it will settle! I had this too. He cut out three feeds (night feeds) suddenly! And then I was left with the aftermath. I think the general thing is to just try and ride it out and only express by hand for comfort if needed. But make sure little one has a good feed and finishes both boobs in the day.

I think it took about a week to 10 days to settle.

Thanks, it just spoils the sleeping through part when I'm waking up rolling onto a boulder. 5 nights down so half way there fx...
