FSH - what do you know?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about their knowledge on FSH. I just got some bloods back at Day 3 of cycle. My FSH was 8. I am thinking perhaps it could have done with being a little lower.
Anyone got any thoughts on this. i have PCOS and suffered two miscarriages. We are just abuot to have an HSG and decide whether to start a cycle of clomid...
