Friends reunited?

I was just wondering what people thought of the site? If any ones partners have an account and what they think about it? There was a programme about it on the telly saying about how many people got divorced because they met 'an old flame'.

My dh has an account and im not sure how i feel about it really

I think it's rubbish - you have to pay to actually contact anyone - I have an account but haven't been on since setting it up.

Forgot to say - my husband has an account.

I trust him - at the end of the day, if he is going to meet someone and leave me, it would happen. Stopping him going on a site, won't stop it happening.
Although, thankfully, he agress with me about it being shite so doesn't go on!!

I used to pay to go on it as it was only a one-off £7.50 for the entire year, but that was before myspace and facebook became popular, so I don't bother anymore.

Though I did internet dating for a while and that was ok, though one of the guys I was due to meet cancelled on me because he'd found an ex on friends reunited and he wanted to meet up with her as she was 'a bit of a deviant' when they were together.

TMI he even sent me the link to her page to see what I thought of her.

Needless to say I blocked him on MSN and never did meet up with him. Loser LOL.

Oh yeah, my OH doesn't have a friends reunited or facebook account - he says there isn't anyone in his past that he would ever want to know again as he was a different person then.

And he only has a myspace to showcase his music, he never actually uses it to talk to people on.

Both me and DH have an account but I've never thought about him going on it TBH. I never use mine and not sure if DH uses his or not. I'm not worried about him running off with an old flame from it if he does use it though

Thats how i feel about it, i dont have one and wouldnt join because if i really liked them i would have never lost touch.

I paid to become a full member so I could get in touch with an old friend as I was sorry I lost touch with her but she never replied, what a waste of money that was

you either trust someone or you dont!!!! I wouldnt have a problem if my partner used it, after all I did and they didnt mind so why should I. there's more chance of him meeting an old flame whilst he's out and about then on this website.

My dh has a friends reunited account but not a paid one the same as I do. It don't bother me at all to be honest. Trust my dh 100%. Like someone else said if he's gonna go off with someone it will be regardless of the site

Well we live in the town where my DH has spent a majority of his life. He is constantly bumping in to people who he knows... including some very model like young Spanish girls. But if I didn't trust him, then I would go crazy

oh, my music myspace is www.myspace.com/unsignedscene - though the music isn't by me, and it hasn't been updated in ages! before being pregnant I organised a lot of charity fundraising gigs, like once a month and unsignedscene is the name I did it under!

I registered but didn't pay, just so I could have a nose at old schoolfriends and see what they are doing now. Must admit I did look up my ex but again only being nosy, I would never want to meet up again. I even looked up my OH's ex with him just out of curiosity. I trust my hubby and agree that if someone is gonna cheat they are gonna cheat and nothing will stop them.

I have an entry on Friendsreunited and occasionally browse the site out of curiosity. I haven't paid for membership though.

I wouldn't mind my OH being mentioned on there (not sure if he is or not as I've never asked)... there are many worse things that could happen.. and it amounts to how much you trust him really.
