I need to make a website for a motorcross track and wondered if any of you ladies knew a free or cheap web hosting site I can use

Most 'free' webhosting has annoying ads etc tied in with it. You can't really get away from that.

Is it a long term site? If so I'd look and see if your ISP offers a bit of free hosting with your broadband package. It may only be a few pages you can have but it would be a start. Keep it simple and if need be compress stuff into the few pages and go from there.

try www.dot.tk its pretty good and free, you get the domain name you want free aswell as the webspace....but you will need your own ftp to upload your website to it. You have an ad banner across the top but so do most websites these days

A friend of mine recommended http://pantherhosting.co.uk for free hosting the other day, but as the hosting for my site is already sorted i wasnt interested lol im with http://www.m8internet.com , never had any problems with downtime etc, and prices are quite cheap also
