formula milk rash

since i have changed nathan from breast feeding to formula he has a red
rash on his face, i have been told this is caused by the change over.
the rash is nowhere else on his body.
im pretty sure he isnt allergic to it as he is feeding fine he isnt being sick or anything
has anyone else had this?

Libby's skin has always been quite reddish, I was told it iss also to do with pollutants, as babies are only used to being in the womb and have never come into contact with the outside world.

It is probably just his skin reacting to the change over as its new to his body, keep him well moistursied, E45 is always good for rashs I find.

Maia had a horrible rash all over her cheeks and in her neck creases. We tried loads of things to get rid of it, but in the end the Dr said it was 'fungal nappy rash'(yes on her face!) caused by her posseting at night and it sitting on her face.

He prescribed canesten cream and it cleared up in 2 days, at the moment her skin is clear as a bell.

Might be worth asking if it doesn't clear up soon.

Oh and the other thing my GP said was to put sudocrem on it. Now I put sudocrem on her face at night and a moisturiser in the morning!
