Formula fed babies. Hungry at 2 weeks

My little man seems to be ridiculously hungry through out the day and night at the minute. He's having a bottle about every 1.5 hours to 2. Having 2-3oz then will start again in about an hour or so. My mum has suggested I put him on the hungry baby milk at least for the night time to give him a good nights sleep. Anyone else had these kind of problems xxx

Yep I did , I was advices to wait until ruby was 6 weeks before putting we on hungry baby milk and tbh I should of done it sooner . At ten days old she was draining 5oz bottles very 1.5 hours . She is not on hungry baby milk and goes every 3 to 4 hours between feeds . She still does not sleep through the
Night xxx

TBH I would wait, babies that little feed little and often coz they have tiny bellys!! You just have to feed on demand, when they are bigger they go longer between meals!!

I would go with this, babies do not drink much to start with...

My Harry at 12 days old is feeding pretty much every hour - hour 1/2 too, if I'm lucky I might get the odd 3 hour gap. Last night was awful he was feeding roughly 3 times in an hour then a hour break then 3 feeds again. Just got to persevere through the hungry/growth spurt days xx

advice was very different for me. cam was super hungry but i was told just to feed him when he wanted instead of changing milk. its normally just more when they are having growth spurts. i was told not to use hungry baby milk as it contained the curd which keeps them fuller because its harder for their bodies to digest whereas normal formulas is the whey.

I put my son on Hungary milk as he was feeding hourly and taking 60 to 70mils he then only took max of 120 till he was about five months then went up to 150mils but just ate little and often x

i totally undersatnd how you feel, my LO was the same drinlking 1.5 to 2 hrs and taking 4-5 oz at 2 weeks old and this just increased till he was drinking 6-7oz every 1.5 to 2hrs but he pooing to the extreme to!! i put on hungry baby milk at 4 weeks then at 6 tried a different formula altogether, but still as bad i went to docs about it and he has a lactose itolerence which is why he was drinking and pooing as much as he was were now on lactose free formula and feed 3-4 hrs sometimes 5hrs between feeds and now sleeping around 7hrs at nite xxx

Thought it was normal for newborns to feed every 1.5/2hourly

It is normal Riven was feeding this often to start with and even now he has his moments where it's only a couple hours between feeds and he is getting on for 10 weeks x x x
