Forgetfulness :(

Am I the only one that seems to have turned into a right idiot since becoming pregnant?

Honestly if something isn't written down I WILL forget (not just maybe - I WILL!)

I also just do and say ditzy things -

Such as filling in the wrong admission forms,
Forgetting that there is laundry in the washing machine (for two days!!!),
Taking both mine and OH lunch to work with me,

Not realising that football club hadn't re-started following the holidays until the childminder rang me up, at 15.50, and asked if she was due to have my son that eve


Please someone put me out of my misery and share some of your experiences...

My son went on a school trip today- he usually gets transport home but I needed to pick him up today.... I forgot!!!! His school is an hour away in traffic and I remembered 20 minutes after I should have left. Luckily made it in time but felt awful!!

Forgetting I have put something in the oven - only realising when I could smell burning! Discussing something with hubby and I kept saying carbon binoxide - when he said to me what do you mean - I repeated carbon binoxide again! I honestly had no idea what I was saying was wrong! Pregnancy does funny things to our brains!

I started teaching science instead of history yesterday, my class were very confused haha x

All these sound like things I have done recently.

I even insisted that 7.30 was more than 7.35 during an exam recently. Which is absolutely ridiculous looking back at it...Gah, cant wait for my brain to return!

I'm terrible! The other night I was putting the washing up away and for some reason I put all my plastic utensils in the oven The night after I put the oven on to pre heat and melted all the utensils, resulting in a very smokey kitchen and lack of utensils! xx

Ah yes.... the pregnancy fog! It's terrible isn't it, I'm exactly the same x
