Have you thought 'what if they have got it wrong?'

I was so excited when I was told that it was a girl but am now worrying that they have got it wrong. DH says that I always have to worry about something and I guess he's right.

We are having a 4d scan in May which will hopefully confirm it's a girl, but what if they say it's a boy. I daren't buy anything pink

Am I being a silly billy? :?

Xxx

i think good to always be a little cautious. I may buy a few girl things but i think i'll stick to neutral things for when she's a new baby.

I really believed the guy when he said girl though, cuz i saw it!

I know mines definately a girl because I had an amnio. Then at the scan I told the woman I already she's a girl and she didn't say 'well actually theres a penis here' so I'm confident :)

You're not being a silly billy just being cautious. The 4d will give you a much clearer image so you will be able to see for sure. The further along you are by the time you've got your scan the better they'll be able to tell. ooohhh, I want my 4d scan now! :cheer:

No I think you're right to be a bit cautious. Nothing's ever 100% accurate unless you've had anmio because it's based on the judgement of the sonographer and they're only human and can get it wrong sometimes.

Just to be on the safe side, keep your receipts

when they confirm at your 4d you will feel better.

I had my 4D at 24 weeks which is when we found out the sex, and the lady was very confident, but even then i doubted it a bit. I think its natural, i was so convinced she was a boy lol.

I had another hospital scan at 25 weeks and the lady there said oh yes def a girl, so now i'm very confident she'll come out with lady bits lol

We were told girl at our 20 week scan but we were a bit cautious, if you want to buy things then go for cheaper things like clothes and keep the tags on and keep the receipts :)
We had it confirmed at our 4D and we clearly saw her lady bits! xx

The other day I was saying this too my mum! I said it would be sooo easy to hide a willy! She laughed but I know if its a girl then I will buy much less than if its a boy until its born and I know for sure.

i thinki its more likely to confuse themselves when they thnk its a boy..because they can think the cord is a duda..we saw the babies bits twice ..if you see three lines between the babys legs then its defo a girl
